Business Link is the first point of contact for anyone wanting to start-up or grow a business. It is an established, national brand, which has grown from strength to strength in Yorkshire and Humber. Our primary roles are to provide business information, diagnose business needs and identify appropriate solutions.
Together with Yorkshire Forward, Business Link has taken a keen interest in social enterprise development for several years now. As an existing provider of support to private businesses, we are committed to ensuring that the support we offer is appropriate for organisations that survive on a mix of grant and earned income. The recent interest in social enterprise from all political parties has strengthened our programme, helping us to work more closely with the public sector to open up contracting opportunities.
We continue to develop our range of services, including specialist business advice, financial support packages and a programme of events and workshops designed exclusively for social enterprises. Following on from the success of FOOTSEY in previous years we are proud once again to be sponsoring the event, along with the Yorkshire & Humber Awards, which will be held on the eve of FOOTSEY.
